Don Holley is back from the CEO Charity Challenge and it gives us great pleasure to let you know that, to date, the challengers have raised $52,240 for Westmead Medical Research Foundation! What a fantastic effort!
The exhilarating and exhausting adventure began last Friday when challengers were flown in teams from Sydney to a back-country base in Queenstown to prepare for the coming two days of endurance and adventure.
In teams led by Rugby NSW Waratah Ambassadors, Waratahs Captain and Wallaby, Phil Waugh, and his teammates, Tom Carter, and Ben Mowen, the teams competed for 55 hours across ice and snow; through endurance legs of snow-shoeing up mountains in blizzard like conditions, to the adrenaline highs of slalom snow driving in the Southern Alps.
The biggest and most rewarding part of this challenge for Mindset has been the opportunity to raise vital funds for Westmead Medical Research Foundation. These funds support medical research and clinical care that directly transforms the lives of children and adults in Australia and across the globe. To be able to contribute to that has been a deeply satisfying experience.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to those individuals and organisations that supported Don in this challenge. Your generous support helped Don exceed his initial fundraising target and raise $5,350, which we are absolutely thrilled with!
Thanks also to Prevue Assessments, who kindly donated $750 worth of assessments. Don will follow up personally with those lucky recipients! Please check our website for more information on Prevue Psychometric Assessments or submit an enquiry form if you’re interested in arranging a free in-company trial for your organisation.
Thank you again for all your support,
