Mindset was established by Don Holley and Aaron Dodd to help organisations cope with this constant change – and thrive through transforming organisations and attracting & retaining the best staff.

Mindset have three specialist divisions that work together to provide a total solution. Originally known as Odin Consulting in NSW and VIC since 2002, Mindset represents a rebrand, refocus, reenergising and redefining of customer needs.

Each consultant has integrated the latest HR and organisational development theory into their service delivery and are accredited in industry leading strategic planning and organisation tools and frameworks.

Don Holley, Managing Director & Transformation Practice Leader


Don Holley spent the majority of his working career with large retailers to a senior management level, where he gained significant people management, operational and commercial experience.

As MD of Mindset he works closely with many Business Managers providing high-level support and clarity on obtaining the right people, aligning those people to the corporate strategy, providing the right environment for those people to be successful and executing on their strategy.

After completing his MBA at the AGSM, Don has been consulting in many areas of Organisational Development since 1999. Don has experience at all levels and in all functions of recruitment and selection, and has worked across Industries such as Pharmaceutical, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, Manufacturing, Financial Services and FMCG.

Don is an expert in organisational development, individual and team based coaching to executive level, recruitment and selection, and strategy consulting. Other areas of expertise include the implementation of role clarity practices, performance management systems, and change management programs during mergers and acquisitions

Aaron Dodd, Operations Director and Talent Practice Leader

Aaron heads up the Mindset Talent division. His vision of Mindset is a professional ethical business consultancy that generates real value and results for its clients using the best methodologies from Australia, Europe and the USA.

With a strong manufacturing, operations and industrial sales background, Aaron has consulted to major multinationals as well as small family owned Australian businesses. His industry experience includes automotive, chemical processing, engineering, bio-pharmaceutical, sporting goods, fresh fruit and produce, processed food, IT, finance and the not-for-profit sector.

Aaron has significant international experience working in New Zealand, Asia and Europe with major multinationals Goodman Fielder, Pitney Bowes and Cuno Inc (now part of 3M). During his time with Mercuri Urval, Aaron further developed close business relationships and networks throughout Victoria, Australia and internationally.

Aaron has a Bachelor Degree in Technology from Massey University in New Zealand. In 1999 Aaron completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Warren Hart, Senior Associate


Warren Hart brings to the Mindset Group his experience as a Managing Director of Australian Water technologies,, Chairman of AWT Philippines and Chairman of Water EcoScience  Victoria.  Prior to this he spent six years as General Manager Human Resources of a large Government Corporation.

He has dealt with all levels of business and government in Australia and within the Asia Pacific region. He has been involved in projects in New Zealand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Fiji and Indonesia.  He is a board member of two Australian companies, and is Chairman of three syndicates with the CEO Institute.  

Warren is an Honorary Associate, of the School of Government Sydney University and is endorsed by the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), as a registered Mentor.

Warren works in the Mindset Transformation as a mentor for senior executives; facilitator of executive team workshops and boardroom hypothetical’s to build board decision-making capability, and senior level mediations.

Graham Maloney, Senior Associate


Graham Maloney brings to Mindset a wealth of business and management experience gained over 36 years in senior executive roles within the financial services sector.

During his varied career he has built small specialist teams to address niche sectors, managed teams of up to 1000 staff, been responsible for a number of companies¹ Human Resources function, managed globally diversified teams, and coached and mentored many individual staff members.

His roles range from Equities Analyst at Macquarie Bank, where he led a specialist team to conduct investment based research which he marketed to clients throughout the developed world, to Group Treasurer at National Australia Bank, where he held global responsibility for a range of functions including Capital, Funding, Liquidity, Taxation and Investor Relations.

Graham holds a Bachelors degree in Mathematics from Sydney University, qualified as an Associate of the Institute of Actuaries, and has recently been admitted as a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

In addition to his association with Mindset, Graham is on the Board of Epilepsy Australia, Circus Oz, and Snowball Financial Group (a listed provider of financial planning and asset management services)

David Guazzarotto, Practice Leader; Technology & Transformation


As the Practice Leader for our HR Technology consulting practice, David Guazzarotto draws on over 17 years experience in Human Resources and Organisational Development, with a particular focus on the intersection between HR and Technology.

David has a unique perspective on the challenges of successfully selecting and implementing HR and Talent Management systems. Having worked within the corporate environment he has experienced a client’s challenges of implementing and integrating new technology into the business; through his experience in management consulting he understands the barriers that prevent technology deployments from succeeding; and his experience with leading global HR software vendors gives him  an appreciation for maximising value in the relationship with vendors for mutual success.  

This experience adds immeasurable value to our clients by navigating them through the maze of information and products available to help them make better decisions about their HR technology, and provide them with the capabilities to successfully deploy and better leverage these investments for the future.

Prior to Mindset, David held senior management roles across the Asia-Pacific region with Softscape, SAP and PeopleSoft. He also worked as a management consultant focused on improving business performance through the adoption of workforce technology. David developed his passion for HR technology in the early part of his career as an HR professional at Coles Myer.

Dale Whitton, Senior Consultant


Dale is a HR consultant with a background in Petrochemical, Engineering, Media and IT. In addition to HR he has worked across Project Management, Business Development and Marketing. Dale has worked with Mindset for 2 years consulting as a Senior Consultant in the Talent area.

Dale has worked with international petroleum companies, assisting the achievement of their growth strategies through improving people practices. For over 4 years Dale was responsible for developing the Talent Strategy for a major petroleum company and worked closely with the internal Organisational Development group. The company improved its market position from number 4 to number 1 and recorded a significant increase in their people capabilities.

In the Talent field Dale has a track record of providing recruitment solutions to a range of industries and role levels. He has managed Recruitment Process Outsourcing projects and assisted organisations in lowering recruitment costs and improving selection practices. For Mindset, Dale developed and leads the innovative Talent Mapping service.

Prior to his career in HR, Dale worked around the world for FEN Holdings, a US based pay television company where he was responsible for establishing joint ventures in new territories. Dale worked in the Middle East, the US and Europe. Previously he held sales and marketing roles in the IT industry.

Dave Moran, Senior Consultant


Dave Moran has fifteen years experience in human capital and executive management roles with operational responsibilities at a functional and strategic level. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts (Economics), a Bachelor of Psychology (Organisational) and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Consulting.  He is currently completing an MBA.

Throughout his career, Dave has completed diverse HR and recruitment assignments throughout Australasia.  His experience incorporates most aspects of senior management, business development and executive recruitment/search.

A consultative and solutions focused search professional, Dave has contributed to the success of organisations operating in the finance/accounting, construction, resources, ICT and defence sectors and has recruited to Board level across all major industries in Australia.

Lisa Langdale, Consultant


Lisa brings 22 years of recruitment industry experience to the team at Mindset whilst having worked in a variety of roles during this time that encompasses a diversity of areas including permanent placement, research, talent mapping, outplacement services, payroll, accounts and office management at companies such as Management Recruiters Australia, Morgan & Banks and DMA.

At Mindset, Lisa works as a recruitment generalist whilst specialising in a variety of positions and industries with previous clients in both Australia and Asia.  

Her past work has included the permanent recruitment of healthcare professionals into the areas of IT, management, operations/strategy, finance, accounts, marketing/communications, consulting and government, with roles including Promotion Managers, Operation Controllers, Support Analysts, Team Leaders, Project/Technical Managers and Marcom/Media Managers.

Angé Wayne, Change Strategist - Transformation Coach


Growing up in South Africa in a very dynamic business environment, entrepreneurship is in Angé’s blood. Arriving in Australia she started her first company Corporate GEMSTONE Pty Ltd trading as GEM. This company rocketed into a three tiered company providing services in education, corporate clothing and recruitment services.

GEM was a way for Angé to trial purposeful techniques to keep employees highly motivated in a very challenging working environment and a very challenging industry. In 2005 Angé sold GEM to really focus on following her biggest dream ever – to CHANGE MINDSETS globally in corporations, communities and government.

To encompass the past successes and to help all her clients and stakeholders continuously benefit from this energy and purpose, Ange started working in private corporations as a professional coach and change agent and now works full time with executive level leaders from successful companies in Australia and around the globe. That together with being asked to key note at global leadership events such as the GONCIL leaders conference in India, Ange’s passion is to live by example to demonstrate publically that change for the better can happen and have such rewarding results.
